About:
Dr. Mehek Mumtaz is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to providing exceptional dental care tailored to each patient’s needs. Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Mumtaz moved to the United States in 2018 and now resides in Niskayuna, New York.
She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Pakistan before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List for her academic excellence. Dr. Mumtaz went on to further refine her clinical skills by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through NYU Langone at Hometown Health Centers in Schenectady, NY.
Dr. Mumtaz is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and building long-lasting relationships with the community she serves. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing with a good movie or TV show.
